Our Twinterview with TastyKeish...

Okay we're going to keep it simple. Let's start with flowers, since we're in the garden. What are your favorite ones?

TastyKeish: A boy gave me a lily once and kept it till it was dead dead and gone. Used to be tulips but they're kind of plain now.

So you killed the flowers? Wouldn't take you as the type?

TastyKeish: I didn't kill the lily, capitalism killed it by severing it from the earth to be sold as a slave to my happiness.

Interesting. Is your thumb green at all? Are you a healthy eater? Do you get your fair share of greens?

TastyKeish: I used to have plants but I couldn't stay home and talk to them. I'm an okay eater, balanced without sparing myself.

When you say 'okay' eater, what does that entail? What's your favorite 'healthy' and 'unhealthy' dish?

TastyKeish: I have my moments when I make green juices and others when I only eat Twix bars and Jalepeno Cheetos #okayEater. Anything Asian-ish especially sushi is my fave healthy food my fave unhealthy thing is liking too much of everything.

Sum up 2009? in 140 characters of less?

TastyKeish: 2009: My dreams came true in real-time. I laid the foundation for 2010, and I'm already seeing the dividends. #manfestit!

That's great Keisha. So how do you go about 'manifesting'? Can anyone do it?

TastyKeish: Anyone with strong desire that will work towards it.Faith without works will get you no where. The path will unfold before u.

Spoken like a true guru. So, 5 years on radio. When are you gonna make your way to the small screen?

TastyKeish: As soon as possible. I have things I'm preparing specifically for that and all I'm doing now will count towards the future. I'm trying to #manifestit for 2011 if not earlier.

Sounds good. What about the big screen? That silver one.

TastyKeish: I never really thought about acting cause I enjoy being myself so much LOL. But I'll try anything...

Stand Up?

TastyKeish: I tried official stand up comedy once when I worked at a comedy club I think I was too young for it. I've been told I should try it now...officially.

Skydiving?

TastyKeish: Nope. Black people don't do that off crack #skydiving

What would you say has been your most awkward moment during professional career while you were working?

TastyKeish: Trying something new and failing. I thought I could perform something right out the box and it was terrible. I cried a lot. I couldn't look at that song (wtf was I doing writing a song?) for awhile until a friend put it in perspective.

How'd you get over it? Have you ever gotten over it really?

TastyKeish: I still haven't gotten over it. I haven't spontaneously broke out into song/dance/or rap since then. I have stage fright,it was my nightmare.

For someone so familiar with the stage and being behind the mic on FM radio we find that hard to believe. You're doing it!

TastyKeish: Thanks. That fear drives me to plan my hardest and do my best.

I guess that wraps this lil convo up for now. We've got some pruning to attend to. Any last words?

TastyKeish: I appreciate this late night walk through the field with you. Last words: underestimate me. I dare you...

The pleasure was all ours. You're invited to the garden anytime.
